帰ってきたと思ったら．．．

今日、無事に帰国。
山火事の煙がすごい。ちょっと走るのはやめておこう。
タックスリベートがなかなか入金されないので
帰ってきてTurboTaxで調べてみたら、なんとEstimate Taxなるものを
払わなければならなくなっていた．．．
しかも最初の支払期日は４月１５日、とっくに過ぎている。
リベートどころか＄３０００近く払わなければいけないなんて、ショック。
でもあまりＩＲＳにたてついてもいいことなさそうなので払うか。　ちくしょー！
　　
後でちょっと調べたら、払うかどうかはその人次第だそうだ。
じゃあ、もちろん払わない。Ｗ４を調整してみるか。

You do not have to re-efile your return, the estimated tax information is not sent to the IRS, it is your choice to pay those estimated taxes so you can ignore them if you like. If you think that your pay may increase and your withholdings will not cover 90% of your tax liability you can accomplish the same thing by changing your deductions at work (claim less or have extra taxes taken out), or if you have a 401K you can increase your contribution.
