About the Instructor: I have participated in many forms of exercise from fitness classes to personal training to triathlon, but my true love is running. I have been a runner for over 20 years, participating in marathons since 2003 and ultramarathons since 2006, including the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run. I am a member of San Jose Fit, Stevens Creek Striders, and USATF, and I have been trained in ChiRunning, CrossFit Endurance, and Barefoot Running. I started coaching in 2011, and I am a certified coach in the Pose Method® and Newton Natural Running™. My coaching philosophy is to help enthusiastic runners get more enjoyment from the sport, reach personal fitness goals, and enable running as a lifelong activity. Your knees should not hurt.
